When you’re in Rio, there are a few must-see spots that you just can’t miss:

  • First up is Christ the Redeemer:

    • One of the Seven Wonders of the World;

    • Considered by some the biggest Art Deco monument in the world;

    • It pointed to the entrance of the Guanabara bay welcoming all of those arriving in Rio and, of course offering his blessing for those leaving the city.

    • The view, being at more than 700 meters high on the Corcovado hill, it offer a unique view of the City.

  • Sugarloaf:

    • First cable car in Brasil, and third one in the world.

    • Has two separate stations, one to Urca Hill, the most comfortable place with stores and some places to eat. And the Sugarloaf mountain station, not so spacious, but still very confortable to hangout, also with places to eat and a restaurant.

    • BEST VIEW - In our opinion, Sugarloaf has the best view of Rio. The is because it’s uniquely situated at the “corner” of the city giving it the best view to see the curves of the hills, the Copacabana beach and the whole Guanabara bay. We believe that if you should pick one, go to Sugarloaf.

    • Final point, is the structure and organization. Although you can get stuck in line, specially during the high season, it’s more comfortable and organized than Christ. And it has the option of a FASTPASS.

  • And of course, there’s the iconic Copacabana beach:

    • Called the Sea Princess by Brazilians, because until the 70’s it was every Carioca’s dream to live in the neighborhood.

    • It’s one of the main postal card of Rio de Janeiro and is worldwide famous, specially after Madonna’s and Lady Gaga’s shows that were held on the beach in front of the famous Copacabana Palace Hotel in 2024 and 2025, respectively

    Speaking of Copacabana, that’s where our food tour comes in! We take you off the beaten path to explore through food the bars in the neighborhood. You’ll get a taste of the real Rio, enjoying delicious bites and getting a unique view of life here. It’s all about experiencing the city like a local—trust us, you won’t want to miss it!
