The Bar Food Competition

This is an annual event that happens during the whole month of April. The bars that participate on the competition need to create a special dish, a finger food, that will be available for a fixed price (this year, 2024, R$ 35,00/U$ 7,00). There is a local winner city or region, and a national winner. The end-game for the bars are recognition and a trophy to be hanged on the wall.

For us Bar lovers that we are, we get to go on a crusade to discover new bars and to vote for the best finger food on the competition. This means we go to 6-8 bars in a day just eating, drinking and voting. It is a lot of fun and can bet very delicious. There are bars that surprise us that we didn't know that existed until we went to. So it's a great way to explore the bars and the culinary.
